2. Setting Environment

2.1 Setting Environment Variables for root

In order to define the environment variables for root just type the following (gcc version 2.96):
npmaster@user> . rootlogin-gcc296 [version]
[version] should be one of the followings:
old, v3.02.07, 3.02.07, 302-07
pro, v3.03.09, 3.03.09, 303-09
for the version 3.2 just type
npmaster@user> . rootlogin-gcc32 [version]
[version] should be one of the followings:
old, v3.02.07, 3.02.07, 302-07
pro, v3.03.09, 3.03.09, 303-09
recent, v3.05.03, 3.05.03 305-03

2.2 Setting Environment Variables for CERN library

In order to define the environment variables for cern just type the following (gcc version 2.96):
npmaster@user> . cernlogin-gcc296 [version]
[version] should be one of the followings:
pro, 2000
new, 2002
for the version 3.2 just type
npmaster@user> . cernlogin-gcc32 [version]
[version] should be one of the followings:
pro, 2000
new, 2002

2.3 Setting Environment Variables for Oracle library

Set up the Oracle 8i (8.1.7) environment
npmaster@user> . oraenv

Set up the Oracle 9i (9.0.1) environment
npmaster@user> . oraenv901

2.4 Setting Environment Variables for HADES Software

Hydra package has been installed successful in the Cluster machines. We have installed the following versions for (gcc version 2.96) :
1) v6_06

2) v6_08

3) nov02

4) nov02-lvl3

5) v6_13

6) v6_14

7) v6_15
Before you set the hydra environment variables you should copy the file rootlogon.C from the /disks/scsi_2/public/gcc-296/anal/v6_15/macros/rootlogon.C in your directory, if you want to run the hydra version v6_15. You can the same thing if you want to run another hydra version, just copy the rootlogon.C from the appropriate directory to your home directory.

Then just type the following:
npmaster@user> . hyd06-gcc296 // this script sets the environmental variables for Root 302-07 and Hydra v6-06 .
npmaster@user> . hyd08-gcc296 // this script sets the environmental variables for Root 302-07 and Hydra v6-08 .
npmaster@user> . hydnov02-gcc296 // this script sets the environmental variables for Root 303-09 and Hydra nov02 and Oracle 8i (8.1.7).
npmaster@user> . hnov02-lvl3-gcc296 // this script sets the environmental variables for Root 303-09 and Hydra nov02-lvl3 and Oracle 8i (8.1.7) .

npmaster@user> . hydv6_13-gcc296 // this script sets the environmental variables for Root 303-09 and Hydra v6_13 and Oracle 8i (8.1.7) .

npmaster@user> . hydv6_14-gcc296 // this script sets the environmental variables for Root 303-09 and Hydra v6_14 and Oracle 8i (8.1.7) .

npmaster@user> . hydv6_15-gcc296 // this script sets the environmental variables for Root 303-09 and Hydra v6_15 and Oracle 9i (9.0.1) .

For the version 3.2 we have installed the version nov02-lvl3
So in order to run this package you should copy the file rootlogon.C from /disks/scsi_2/public/gcc-32/anal/nov02-lvl3/macros/rootlogon.C in your directory. Then just type the following:
npmaster@user> . hnov02-lvl3-gcc32 // this script sets the environmental variables for Root 305-03 and Hydra nov02-lvl3 and Oracle 8i (8.1.7).

2.5 Setting Environment Variables for Pluto library

Pluto package has been installed successful in the Cluster machines. We have installed the following versions for (gcc version 2.96) :
1) v 3.58 (pro)
2) v 3.6 (new)

In order to define the environment variables for pluto just type the following :
npmaster@user> . plutologin [version]

version should be one of the followings:

pro, 2000

new, 2003

2.5 Setting Environment Variables for Hgeant Software

Hgeant package has been installed successful in the Cluster machines. We have installed the following versions for (gcc version 2.96) :
1) v3_13 (pro)
2) v3_14 (new)

In order to define the environment variables for hgeant just type the following :
npmaster@user> . geantlogin [version]

version should be one of the followings:

pro, v3_13

new, v3_14
